Lil Uzi Vert & Future Finally Drop Rumored New Songs “Over Your Head” & “Patek”
Approximately "Seven Million" fans are psyched that Future and Lil Uzi Verthave finally dropped that joint music they'd been teasing. This past Friday, the two frequent collaborators released "Over Your Head" and "Patek" (not to be confused with Uzi's 2018 solo track, "New Patek"). They're the first collaborations from the pair since they linked up for “All Bad" off Future’s most recent album, High Off Life. Prior to that, they'd joined forces on “Wassup,” from Uzi’s Eternal Atake deluxe release LUV vs. The World 2. Rolling Stone calls "Over Your Head" a "melodic melding of the minds" and "essentially an Uzi song with Future riding shotgun." The outlet is less enthused about "Patek," calling it "a bevy of nonsense [about] Hellcats, Rick Owens pantaloons, Don C hats, [and] shoes with reptilian hides--all things they’ve rapped about before (and better) on other songs."
