Sweden Extends ASAP Rocky's Detainment, Says Jared Kushner Never Contacted Them

Authorities in Sweden are shooting down claims that White House aide Jared Kushner recently negotiated better prison conditions for ASAP Rocky. “We have had no communication with the White House,” the Swedish Prosecution Authority told Page Six on Friday, adding that even if Team Trump wanted to intervene, "[It is] not possible for the U.S. President to have any influence on the Swedish legal procedure.” On Thursday, the outlet reported that Kushner got ASAP Rocky moved to better facilities, while the U.S. State Department added in a statement, “We expect all governments, including Sweden, to treat American citizens fairly and with respect." Meanwhile, the AP reports that Rocky will be detained another week as police continue to investigate the fight that took place last month in Stockholm that led to his arrest.
